Alison Woodhouse is a writer, teacher and reviewer based near Bath, England.

I have been a reader for several competitions (TSS, Brighton, Bath) and now help run the Bath Short Story Award and I am one of the judges for 2021 NFFD micro competition.

My stories are published online and in print. My debut Novella in Flash, The House on the Corner, is published by AdHoc Fiction (Oct 2020) and my short stories are widely anthologised.

I am passionate about all forms of writing and I love teaching. I have a GNVQ Level 3 as an adult educator and QTS to teach secondary English Literature & Language.

I was awarded a distinction on my MA in Creative Writing in 2019 and I will soon be offering writing classes, one to one mentoring and manuscript critiques, so watch this space!

My flash and short stories are in the following anthologies; all available to purchase from independent publishers. It's great to support the tremendous work they do.
